Welcome to the Ogden Foundation! We are a non-profit organization, which leads a passionate and unified effort to preserve and enhance our community by providing opportunities for disadvantaged youth to improve their life skills by participating in sports training programs. Our mantra of "Leveling the Playing Field" is a spirited invitation to the residents and businesses of the greater Las Vegas area to make an impact starting with where they live and work.
Highlights
The Ogden foundation is a local, non-profit organization established in 2007. This foundation is an extension of The Jonathan Ogden Foundation which was established in 1996. Both foundations are dedicated to supporting the community by building programs through strategic partnerships. Since local government cannot meet all social and recreational needs of our community, the Ogden Foundation and The Jonathan Ogden Foundation respond to this void by establishing initiatives and adopting projects that support families, unite communities, and promote healthy lifestyles for the children and at-risk youths.
A dedicated Board of Directors provides the expertise to administer the Foundation's programs. Comprised of representatives with a variety of interests and experiences, these professionals are driven with a passion for improving the lives of others by sharing their gifts and talents.
Funding is obtained through individual donations, corporate sponsorships, matching fund campaigns, endowments, and partnerships with other agencies. Our record of success has resulted in on-going partnerships with community members, businesses, and other non-profit organizations.
Vision Statement
The Ogden Foundation seeks to provide activities that unite the greater Las Vegas community and provide a positive, safe, and healthy outlet for at-risk and delinquent youth. We aim to ultimately provide a state of the art facility where youth can participate year round in sports training, nutritional/wellness, academic mentoring, and an unparallel empowerment program. We aim to keep at-risk and delinquent youth off the streets in a safe and productive environment.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to establish a structured environment for at-risk and delinquent youth which promotes personal development through education, mentoring, athletics, and empowerment programs which build self confidence, self esteem, and a healthy lifestyle through our exercise and nutrition program.
