Young people today navigate many different communities, large and small, each with its own influences and pressures. Children and teenagers have the potential to be powerful activists with valuable first-hand perspectives, fresh ideas, and an understanding of the mentality of their peers.

The Ogden Foundation encourages students to become active participants in society, learn civic responsibility, and develop meaningful leadership and workplace skills. By forming a Youth Advisory Council and Board, children can integrate meaningful community service into their classroom curriculum through a hands-on approach dealing with issues that have real world importance.

Here are some of the top reasons for joining CAAMP Kids Care Club:

  •  Service learning – heavy focus on community service and service learning projects
  •  Great leadership skills – enhancing children’s skills of being great leaders and communicators
  •  Belonging to a group – making new friends kids will have the chance to meet new people and establish new long-lasting friendships
  •  Job and career opportunities – we offer internships and job opportunities to high school and college students with the foundation, UFC Gym or other local community partners
  •  College resume – good colleges nowadays expect students to be involved in extracurricular activities and start building their resumes before they enter high school
  •  Social development and events – the club meets monthly and members enjoy social events to bond and celebrate the success of their work
  •  FUN! FUN! FUN!
